Lucerne Plum Schnapps

Originating in Syria, plums were introduced by the Romans to Italy and the colonies north of the Alps in 100 BC. Plums have been cultivated in many locations over the past century and it is believed there are now more than 2000 varieties in the world.

We recommend mixing the plum schnapps with a hot, weak coffee to make a traditional Kaffee Luz. You could also try topping a mixture of plum schnapps, sugar and coffee with whipped cream to create an indulgent Schümli-Pflümli drink.
