Ticino Merlot Grappa

Merlot is a red wine grape variety originally from the French region of Bordeaux. The grapes made their way to Ticino via Italy in 1910.
We source our Merlot grape pomace from top vineyards in Ticino.
After around two weeks, we distil that pomace with our traditional grappa making equipment in Gunzwil. We heat it with the steam distilling equipment and cool it down with our mountain water from Eichberg.

The result is an aromatic Merlot Grappa as it should be.
