Pure Berner Rosen Apple Distillate

The Berner Rosen apple is a variety of Malus domestica. This winter apple was discovered by chance by F. Baumann in a forest near Oppligen in the canton of Bern in 1870. A nursery called Baumschule Daepp in Münsingen propagated the trees and the first fruits were harvested in 1888.
They grow best at a high altitude.

We are passionate about this variety of apple and our schnapps has a clean and crisp bouquet bursting with deliciously distinct fruit. The flavours are beautifully balanced and mild.
