Lucerne Williams Pear Distillate

Discovered by accident by an Englishman named Williams towards the end of the 18th century, this delightful pear soon became popular across Europe and the USA. Usually light green to bright yellow when ripe, some varieties of this summer pear do have red skin. The fruit is soft, juicy and beautifully tasty.
The Williams pears we use come from Lucerne and the sunny canton of Valais.

We don’t start picking the pears until they are perfectly ripe to allow the deliciously sweet fruit flavours to fully develop.
